I would LOVE 100 bucks!

Of course, right now, I think peace and quiet would be ALMOST as much fun! After spending the morning driving my three kids plus my sister and three year old nephew around, I am pretty sure there is a special spot in heaven for anyone who deals with young boys. Donovan (who is 5) and my nephew, Ty (who is 3) just spent HOURS fighting about everything and nothing...poking/hitting one another, yelling about who used whose cell phone (toy, not real!) and just generally making my sister and me CRAZY. Shouldn't they be better behaved as they get older?! How is the three month old baby the best behaved???

Add into that the fact that the place we went was SUPER CROWDED and not so fun after all...and then it took us 40 minutes to drive 10 miles to McDonalds...ugh. It was just the opposite of fun! SERIOUSLY OPPOSITE!

But then I came back to see MckMama has a drawing and I want to win!! YAY!

There’s a great new “linky” service available and I wanted to let you know about it. It’s called MckLinky – www.mcklinky.com. After realizing the need for a new, reliable linky capability, Brent Riggs and MckMama got together to create a free, easy to use linky service for all their blog friends.

The boys are playing airplanes. Giz has a balsa wood plane that is likely to break at any second which will result in many tears...and Patch has a foam-ish kind of airplane that belongs to Giz...
This is the conversations...
(Both kids making VVVVVVVVrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmm noises)
Giz-STOP making that noice Patch!
Patch-Whaaaat? Vvvvrrrmmmmm
Giz-Stop it! Your plane doesn't HAVE a jet engine. Only MY plane has a jet engine so STOP IT.
Patch-Whaaaat? My pane not have engine?
Giz-NO! Yours doesn't so stop making that noise!
Patch-Vvvrrmmmmm Vvvrrmmmm
Giz-Fine! I am taking your plane! No more plane!
Patch-(SCREAMING) Nooooooooo no no no no...MY PANE!
And now I have to go break up the plane fight....

Not Me Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week!

I DID NOT get milk at the grocery store and get four dollars cash back JUST so I could run to Starbucks without anyone knowing! Nope, not me. And I most certainly did NOT load all three kids in the car to make the longer drive to the drive-thru Starbucks so I wouldn't have to get everyone out and back in...nope...

I did not change the clock in Gizmo's room by an hour so that he would be tricked into staying in his room during rest/naptime longer...

I am positive it was not me who ate chocolate cake for breakfast and told the whining children that they needed healthy food because they were still growing and could have chocolate cake for breakfast when they were all grown up like Mommy...no way!

And finally I am certain that I DID NOT call Carters and tell them my kids were having a reaction to the tagless labels so that I could get a refund check on clothing I was about to take to the consignment shop...not me!!

I love Mondays.

Daddy Had A...Procedure...

I keep saying I will spend more time blogging, but I keep NOT doing it!
Well, Mr. T had the BIG V on Friday, so our weekend was filled with much whining (him) and much taking care of whining people (me) and lots of kids who don't understand, "No, no, Daddy isn't sick...he just...hurts!" YOU try keeping a 5 year old and a 2 year old out of the way while keeping a 3 month old quiet...yeah, not so much.
But anyway, T had his procedure done and we are feeling really good about the fact that we are DONE (D-O-N-E!!!) having kids. I will feel a whole lot better in the next month when I can be certain I am not already pregnant again!! We have this amazing ability to think the word BABY and WHAM! I am knocked up...
So Giz had a lot of questions when Daddy tried to explain that he had gone to the doctors because Mommy & Daddy are done having babies and the doctor made it so we couldn't have any more.
Giz-But WHY don't you want more babies, Daddy?

Mr. T-Because we are happy with the three we have!

Giz-So how did the doctor make sure?

Mr T-Well, he had to do a little surgery.

Giz-So he had to cut you? He cut your belly? Because that is where babies come from!

Mr T-No, no...not exactly my belly...

Giz-Well then where? Where did he cut you, Daddy?
(me laughing)

Mr. T-(whispering) Help me out here!

Me-Just tell him the doctor took care of it and that is all he needs to know for now!

Mr. T-Okay, Giz, the doctor took care of it and that is all you need to know for now!

Giz-Okay Daddy...

And he went back to singing Boom, Boom, Pow...My kid loves the Black Eyed Peas.
